Scratch was an ongoing illustrated bi-weekly column in The New York Times created by Julia Rothman and Shaina Feinberg. For five years, it appeared in the Sunday Business section and also online. The column aimed to put a spotlight on people and small businesses that don’t often get their stories told. All concepts, interviews, artwork and layout done by Julia and Shaina.
